Levon Barseghyan is the Manager of the “Betty” Fruit Tree Nursery in Chiva at the Armenia Tree Project Charitable Foundation and is responsible for the overall organization and management of the nursery’s operations. He joined the organization in 2021 and since then has ensured the efficient functioning of the nursery, from soil preparation to the cultivation and distribution of high-quality seedlings.
Within his role, Levon organizes and oversees all seasonal activities, including sowing, grafting, maintenance, irrigation, and fertilization processes. He consistently ensures the proper organization of operations with the aim of maintaining a diverse range of fruit tree species and achieving high productivity.
Prior to joining Armenia Tree Project, Levon was also engaged in the management of agricultural lands, overseeing fruit nurseries as well as apple and grape orchards. His experience covers the full agricultural cycle, from planting to harvesting.
Levon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from the Armenian National Agrarian University, specializing in Forestry and Landscape Gardening.
