Urban Greening Program
At Armenia Tree Project, we believe in the power of community. That’s why we collaborate closely with local residents to create vibrant urban green spaces in schoolyards, church grounds, cultural heritage sites, and areas affected by disasters. To date, we’ve established nearly 1,900 community green spaces across Armenia!
What We Offer:
- Free Trees: We provide a variety of trees suited to local climate conditions.
- Professional Guidance: Our team offers expert advice and support throughout the planting and care process.
- Environmental Education: We empower communities with knowledge about sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Working hand-in-hand with residents fosters a sense of ownership and civic engagement, ensuring long-term responsibility for these green spaces. Our Urban Greening Program integrates:
- Reforestation and Afforestation
- Environmental Education
- Social Impact
Whether we’re restoring parks, planting trees in kindergarten yards, or revitalizing areas affected by natural disasters, our program unites people around a shared vision of a greener, healthier Armenia.
Get involved! Together, we can make a real difference for our communities and the environment.
At schoolyards, churchgrounds, cultural heritage sites, and regions impacted by natural disasters, the Armenia Tree Project (ATP) partners with local residents to create small urban green spaces. These sites are cared for directly by the community members themselves.
To date, we have established nearly 1,900 community green zones across the country.
As part of this initiative, we provide free tree seedlings tailored to local climate conditions, alongside professional guidance and environmental education throughout Armenia. Together with local residents, we cultivate a deep sense of community ownership, civic engagement, and long-term responsibility for the environment.
Our Urban Greening program weaves reforestation, afforestation, environmental education, and social impact into a single, cohesive initiative. Whether we are restoring parks, greening kindergartens, or reviving disaster-affected areas, this program unites people around one shared vision: a greener, healthier Armenia.
